Guys,

We've had a few large and cluttered threads in the for sale sections lately, so we thought some further guidelines might alleviate this. The two major things to note:

1. When posting large lists of items for sale, please post the list, then only update your first post. If you have additions or changes, edit your first post and note them there. This will give people just one place to look, and there aren't updates and additional items to hunt out as you go down the thread.

2. Posts such as "I do not follow the rules...", "Email sent", etc aren't necessary. Everyone gets notified either via email (if they have the board set up to do so) or at the top of every page here if they have a new private message. If they have an email, I'm sure the notification in their inbox is sufficient.

Just keep these two things in mind, and some of the clutter we've seen in the big long threads in the Marketplace sections should clear up.

Just a reminder for these guidelines. I've seen quite a few "I do not follow the rules..." type of messages lately that I've deleted.

Also, additionally, please don't "bump" a classified ad unless you have new information to contribute.

It's probably worth making this a sticky, even though we don't get a lot of traffic in this particular forum.
